Chef   Dominique  hails  from  the  Basque region in France and has graduated from the Lycee Hotelier of Biarritz in the year 1980. He started his career in Europe and has moved on to different properties

 in South America and Asia, which include Venezuela, Equador, Indonesia, Vietnam and Philippines and being employed on a cruise liner. 

He had been invited by the French Government to represent South East Asia  at  the  World  Congress  of  Basque Gastronomy. Cooking is his passion, being a Saucier his speciality and Guest Satisfaction his priority. His new assignment is one of challenge and opportunity, as he will cater to people practically  from  every  region  in  the world due to the high cultural diversity of the UAE population, implementing flavours and colours in all his recipes to suit their taste. 

His other interests include art, traveling, getting to know the language, culture and people of different countries and he is also the Member of French Academic Society “ Art, Sciences et letters”.  

Chef Dominique is currently working as an Executive Chef of Inter-continental    Abu Dhabi and is proud to welcome him onboard the team.

Italian Chef at the Beach Rotana Hotel

Marco Aveta has joined the Beach Rotana Hotel Abu Dhabi  as Italian Chef. 

Throughout his career,  Marco  was  responsible  for a wide variety of outlets, all within 5 star properties in Italy, London, Muscat and Sharm El Sheikh. His knowledge, of both Western and Eastern cultures, contributes to the exciting outlook for Beach Rotana Hotel and precisely Come Prima Italian restaurant.
