The new Z will be one of the most powerful cars in its price range, and will definitely be competition to more expensive cars such as the Porsche Boxster. Powered by a 3.5 liter V6 engine, the Z will definitely produce more than 260 horsepower, transferred to the ground by large 18 inch alloy wheels on which wide tires sit. The 3.5 liter V6 engine will push the car from 0 to 60 miles per hour in less than 6 seconds. The top speed on the Z will likely be over 150 mph. Stopping power in the 350Z is provided by large disc brakes. Like previous Z cars, the new Z will have a front engine, rear wheel drive layout, with good weight distribution. The car will be offered in both 6-speed manual and 5-speed automatic transmissions, and will share the same platform as the next generation Skyline
